One of the common problems faced by the people is, sleepless nights. We usually hear from aged people, that they couldn’t sleep during the night time. This has some scientific reasons. Sometimes even young people will find it difficult to sleep. If your mind is filled with emotional thoughts or negative thinking, you won’t be able to sleep. In order to overcome this, you need to fill your mind with pleasant thoughts. Before you got o bed, think about something which you love the most or the moment which you enjoyed the most. This should solve the problem. And even if your body is extremely tired, you will find it difficult to sleep. In those cases, wash your face and get freshen up before you go to bed.

I personally feel that the amount of mental stress that a person experiences in today’s fast paced world, has increased. This is the major reason for more number of suicides. Even after following those stress buster techniques, if you feel that you couldn’t come out of your stress, it is recommended for you to consult a psychiatrist. Life is precious. I always like give a luxurious look to my bed room. When ever I go out for shopping, I used to buy some attractive articles or furniture which catches my eye. There is a valuable reason for decorating my bed room. I always use to have a day full of stressful work. If we plan to buy furniture, we need to make sure that it is strong and durable. Quality also plays a vital role in making me feel pleasant. It is obvious that we will feel pleasant only if we feel comfortable, when we go to bed. So always be sure that you buy quality bedroom furniture. There are different varieties of furniture when it comes to providing a luxurious look to our bedroom. Out of all those furniture, platform beds are one of my favorites. I recommend everyone to try this method, if you want to be free from mental stress.
In today’s fast paced world we often feel stressed out due to various causes like work pressure, meeting deadlines etc. Self hypnosis is an easy and quick way to overcome the stress and feel refreshed. There are two types of people in this world. Proactive and reactive according to Stephen Convey in his book “seven habits of highly effective people”. Have you ever read this book? This book is not just for reading and keeping aside. It’s something we should have side by side and implement everything in our life. That will make your life amazing. Remember his words as, a person gets hurt not when other one hurts… but only when those hurting words are taken deep into you. Many don’t realize that we are gifted, because we have been given the choice to whether to take hurting words into or out. So be cool. You can decide your way.
In the last article we saw about a natural technique, to free our mind from depressions. There is yet another technique followed by the ancient saints, to refresh their mind every morning. Every morning just before sunrise, they use to go to a river bed and stand in the direction of the sun rise. Then they will imagine themselves doing great things in life.
But now a days it’s not possible for us to find a river bed every morning. But we can try this technique in peaceful natural surroundings. What we have to do is, we have to imagine ourselves doing greatest things life. For example, if you want to become a musician, then you can imagine that you performing a in a concert, in front of thousands of people. just try this, you will feel more relaxed and confident through out the day.
In the last post I have mentioned about anti depressants, which will make us feel pleasant by reducing the amount of stress. But it is always better to follow natural techniques rather than going for scientific methods of cure. Let us see some of the techniques that could be performed with ease.
Every morning, as soon as you wake up, get yourself seated in a silent environment. Living room is good, but natural surroundings are better. Now place a rose (flower) in front of you and start admiring its beauty. Start from the innermost petal and continue admiring it until the outer most petals. That’s it you are done.
This practice refreshes your mind and gives a pleasant feeling. It takes away all your mental stresses and you will fell energetic for the whole day. But the most important thing is that, you should not divert your concentration at any case. It will be difficult in the beginning, but can be achieved through continuous practice.

Do you have a good sleep every night? The world has become busy and it’s a hectic schedule in front of us everyday. At the end of the day, your body and mind needs complete rest. But are you able to sleep peacefully? In today’s scenario, many of us face this problem. Every adult needs to sleep a minimum of six to seven hours everyday, so that his mind will be fresh and be prepared for the next day.
The reason for these sleepless nights is simple. When we go to bed, we tend to carry all our stress and anxiety along with us. So in order to have restful nights, we need to try and calm down our mind before going to sleep. We can achieve this in many ways. We can think of some thing positive that happened in our life some time ago or we can think about the moments that we enjoyed a lot.
Our dinner has something to contribute to our sleep. Our diet should contain tryptophan, an amino acid which induces sleep. Hence it is recommended that we take foods that contain good amount of protein and moderate carbohydrate for our dinner. Some of the food items that could be included in dinner are milk, curd, sea foods, poultry, pulses and soyabeans.

High blood pressure is common among people. When ever these people get tensed, their pressure level shoots up. We can also see that they tend to lose their temper very easily. When their tension reaches the highest level, it may lead to some critical problems such as coronary heart disease. Hence it is necessary to take conscious efforts to maintain our blood pressure level.
There are some techniques to get ourselves relieved from tension. When ever you feel tensed, just sit back in a chair and place your right hand on the belly and your left hand over the chest. Now slowly inhale and exhale continuously. When more oxygen enters your body, you brain is replenished and you will feel fresh and relaxed.
Now for the second method, sit in a comfortable position and visualize something pleasant and cheerful. Visualize that you have achieved what you want in your life. By doing so, your brain will make you believe that you are happy and hence your tension will disappear.
Some stretching exercises will also help you release your tension. Turn your head left and right slowly and hold it in each position for at least 5 seconds. After doing that for 5 times, bend your head down, hold it for 5 seconds and then look up slowly.
Practice these techniques and live a tension free life.
